Texas Residential Construction Commission

The Texas Residential Construction Commission was a state agency established to help oversee single family residential construction. The agency has four objectives: promote the idea of quality construction by having industry members and residential construction projects registered; educate homeowners and residential construction companies by keeping them informed about the latest news and trends about the industry; serve as a complaints office; and provide an unbiased technical review of all types of post construction defects. The commission has since been closed with all data moved to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
